Live Chat – Direct Transfer Improvements

Prevent Transfers to Agents With No Available Capacity

Direct chat transfers have been improved to stop chats becoming stuck or unassigned.

What’s changed:

  • Users with zero available chat capacity will no longer appear in the transfer user list.

  • If a transfer is attempted to a user with no available slots, the action will be blocked and a clear warning will be shown.

  • Users with available capacity can still receive direct transfers as normal.

API improvements:

  • A real-time capacity check now runs during direct transfers to ensure the selected user can immediately accept the chat.

These improvements increase routing reliability and significantly reduce the risk of stalled or unassigned conversations.
