Text-to-speech improvements

Several improvements have been made to text-to-speech functionality in Synthetix Cloud to provide a smoother and more consistent listening experience.

What's new

• Improved playback controls when using Firefox
• Automatic selection of the most natural-sounding voice for each browser
• Better support for longer text being converted into speech

Impact

• More reliable and consistent behaviour across Chrome, Edge, Safari and Firefox
• Improved speech quality without any user configuration
• Longer responses can be played without interruption
• No breaking changes to existing functionality

Allow Application Keys to Be Assigned to Long-Lived Tokens (LLT)

You can now choose which application an access token belongs to when creating long-lived tokens.

Previously, long-lived tokens were always linked to the default application, which could cause issues when using them across different apps. This update gives you more flexibility and ensures tokens are correctly associated with the application they’re intended for.

What's new

• Better control over how tokens are used in different applications
• Fewer access and permission issues in production environments
• No change if you’re already using the default setup

No action is required unless you want to take advantage of this new option.

New metrics charts for webhooks

Webhook monitoring has been enhanced with visual metrics to make activity easier to understand at a glance.

What's new

• Each webhook now includes its own metrics chart
• Activity data are displayed in a clear, visual format
• No configuration is required to access the new charts
